WE DESIGN VALUE-DRIVEN ECOSYSTEMS

Across Businesses, Real Estate, Hospitality and Cities

SYSTEMS SHAPE PERFORMANCE

Institutions shape governance. Economic and spatial structures shape opportunity. Human, societal and cultural forces shape how places are lived and sustained. When these dimensions operate in silos, friction increases and value erodes.

Through strategic direction and ecosystem design, we analyse these interdependencies, identify points of misalignment and realign them. The result is resilient, value-driven ecosystems embedded within their broader environments.

Every place operates within its own cultural, economic and urban context – through international experience and established networks, we navigate local nuance, understand mentalities and translate insight across both familiar and new environments

Marina Ostrowski

Marina Ostrowski’s work is shaped as much by lived experience as by professional practice. Born into a minority community in Baku, Azerbaijan during the Soviet era, she learned early how environments and unspoken rules shape behaviour, and how misalignment creates friction long before it becomes visible. Growing up across different communities, belief systems and social structures required constant adaptation and translation — an ability that would later define her professional approach.

Her early years unfolded within a culturally diverse society shaped by strong traditions and rigid political frameworks, followed by immigration to Germany and the challenge of adapting to new languages, norms and expectations.

Alongside this, she was deeply involved in structured environments such as competitive chess, youth leadership and large-scale cultural events, sharpening her ability to read systems, dynamics and people under pressure. This instinct carried into her professional life. After studying and working across the UK and France, Marina built a career spanning creative industries, hospitality and real estate, working with companies such as Soho House and Meliá Hotels International, advising on mixed-use and cultural projects, and collaborating on developments across Europe, Central Asia, Singapore and beyond.

A pattern emerged: projects rarely fail because of design or ambition, but because underlying economic, cultural, organisational and human systems are misread or ignored. In 2008, she founded World of Os. to formalise this approach. Today, her practice helps businesses, real estate, hospitality and urban projects gain clarity before commitment, recalibrate when momentum is lost, and evolve with coherence over time — diagnosing complexity and translating it into strategic direction that holds.
